This was the welcome decoration I printed last November in Texas.
And here is the finished quilt, 41.5" h x 53' W. The bottom blue section is the fabric I rubbed in Las Vegas- the California number plates on the bench seat in the air conditioned comfort of the Mandalay Casino. Francie, you can see how they have been used.
The other number plate, on the brown section, is from the old Texas farm truck at the Franch.
Wow Sue - how did you get the cars to stay still long enough to rub the number plates?? You are so fit! Ahh - the Mandalay! Another great piece - a memory catcher and a tribute to your athleticism.

ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful, Sue! I love your creativity - such a great way to remember fun times and trips... makes me wish I traveled more! The colors are very SouthWest, and the big orange ball looks like the Texas sun.
