It's so nice to make new discoveries on a road that has been travelled many times before. And so it was when we decided to stop at Kalbar for coffee on our way to Warwick on the Southern Darling Downs, Queensland.
First we found the ' Bored Husbands Seat' outside the bakery and craft shop.
But this sign 'Art Café du Kalbar' had caught our eye and the lovely seating out the front was very inviting.
Inside Kristie has decorated with 1950's nostalgia.
Items are for sale but the coffee and chocolate tart got our attention.
Open 7days from 9am- 4pm and well worth a visit for friendly service and great home baked treats.
