Monkey pod

I took this red hand dyed cotton to Hawai'i with me and used found Monkey Pods [ hope I have this right?] for some printing and rubbing while visiting Phyllis Cullen. The design was bland and indistinct until I painted the rubbed pods with white. The black leaf prints are from the Big Island too. Now I'm liking how it is looking and have plans for it.
