Many small cottages in Melbourne have the most wonderful iron lace decoration on the front verandahs. I took many photos as I noticed the designs were all subtly different, as were the accompanying gardens.

I've been trying to restrain myself from too many comments on your visit to Melbourne. We lived in Geelong for a few years and often visited Melbourne where some of our friends live...galleries, museums, food...oh, I could go on. I guess that's exactly the rub...the lace ironwork was the last straw. I had to go dig through our thousands of photos and reminisce. I love following you on your journeys. Thanks.
