On first glance you may think this is composed of tiny fabric squares & why not? It has been done before.
However this work was huge, taking up a wall at the Gallery of Modern Art in Brisbane during the recent Asia Pacific Triennial. The artist, Kang Yong Sam's work was part of art from North Korea & it was very much the propoganda style art of that country.
Nia you will enjoy The Fabric of Society exhibition.
Yes Sue have to agree there - the mosaic was very large - enjoyed the exhibition.
