Last Saturday was a meeting day for 2QAQ [Queensland Quilters Art Quilts] & we had a demonstration day with 5 talented members, each showing a different technique. Jan with her samples using flour paste resist.Felicity, below on the R, is very talented in using an embellisher to make sculptural work.
Susan, on R, of Essential Textile Art demonstrated paper clay & had lots of great products for sale.
Mel had lots of examples of image transfer techniques, which she uses in her work. I was busy with oil paint stick demonstrations & this is one of the workshops I'm teaching at the Pacific International Quilt Festival in October.
