This piece 'Acacia Ridge' has had a long evolution, but is finally finished. Many years ago, before I began dying my own fabric, I bought this hand dye from a local business Ozdyeart, now no longer in business. A few years ago I printed it with acacia [wattle] flowers & rubbed it with oil sticks.
It sat around for a long time, but it is finally finished! It measures 31" L x 51"W.
Wow that is really striking Sue. Would love to see it close up sometime.
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing! I'd love to see it in person. It would be great if you could bring it to PIQF, but I imagine you're already tearing your hair out trying to figure out how to fit everything into your luggage!!
