Fellow SAQA member Averil Stuart-Head is in Australia for a short holiday, so we took the opportunity to meet at the Queensland Art Gallery to talk art, textiles & Italy, where she is based. What an amazing time she is having in Introdaqua & I loved hearing about her studio, a former wine cellar. Talking to Averil brought back many fond memories of our time in Sardinia, 14 years ago.
