'Graffito' was decoration scratched through plaster to the under surface & is an ancient art form. The modern graffiti tagging in this photo, to me, can't be elevated to the same level.

Interesting. I've been collecting graffiti for a time now...some of it is SO interesting...like the one you posted. I'm thinking of doing a work on some of the photos I've made. Would you?
There's so much of it to see on the train ... some is so beautiful and some of it excrutiatingly difficult to imagine how anyone got to be in the particular place to "spray" it ... without serious injury to spray can and artist. Love the pic as I move to a different part of the Universe!
