Painting the Grand Canyon

I'm making a quilt with fabric I printed & rubbed at the Grand Canyon, but needed 1 more panel so decided to paint a panel.
From the photo above, that had been enlarged, I took a tracing, thanks to Jan & her light box.
This is the progress on so far on fabric which had been coloured with Dye na Flow, a great dye product from Jacquard which doesn't use a lot of water for great results. I am painting with Permaset fabric paint.

    That's so beautiful Sue - and you've captured the sense of "foreverness" of the GC. Thepanel is gorgeous.
