Tarting up the jeans

Last month I wanted to lengthen a pair of jeans and give them a makeover. Remember the braid stitched around the hems in the 70's? Well I do! But I decided this was not quite what I wanted, so I got my paint out.

I added decorative elements using the metal trivots I'm fond of. I heat set and have worn them, but the images are fading [I used a paint brand I don't usually use] so tarted them up a bit more today.
