Sun dyeing

There are a few brands of paint that give heliographic effects. Here you can see the Pebeo and Kraft Kolor brands. These dyes are very water efficient as they go without a mordant and stay on the fabric without having to wash and wash and wash.......out excess!

I found this table runner at a clearance sale and it had to come home with me for the found object box.

Any folds in the fabric are also translated into pattern.
