Back home

We have now arrived back in Australia after a most wonderful holiday! Our time with our family in Slovakia was very special and we were busy each day, so the blogging dropped off considerably but I  will catch up on our activities, as inspiration for you and a record for myself. I'm in a bit of post holiday daze at present and jet lag.

Springtime in Europe burst upon us in the garden where we were staying in Slovakia and we were surprised by the quick changes we experienced in the short time we were witness to it. Pink, lots of white at first and then the brilliant yellow of the rape seed fields.

Vegetable seedlings coming along nicely in the poly green house and outside too. After 10 days everything had grown at least 6 inches.

Home produced wine stored in the cellar. This is good stuff!

My cousin is a wonderful cook and we were treated to excellent meals 3 times a day. Garlic soup for lunch followed by roast duck. Yummy!
