Chianti country


Just before we left Italy to return home, we treated ourselves to a delicious 4 course degustation lunch in the 18th century Villa owned by the Monterinaldi winery in Chianti, south of Firenze. It was a magical experience sitting in our individual dining room, with a big group in the larger dining room and an English couple with the same surname in another.

This was the property's former chicken house! I will be back with photos from Jumpers and Jazz next week.
