Our first day of Summer, yesterday, brought much needed rain & a drop in temperatures. This beautiful flowering ginger is not in my garden. I am always amazed at how much the warmer weather promotes plant growth & the shedding of so many palm fronds! Thinking of all my Northern Hemisphere friends who may be surrounded by snow.
When I saw the ginger flowers - had to check on mine - no flowers yet, it does look hopeful though! They were completely covered in the flood and are still going strong.
