Angkor Wat provided me with a glimpse into how textiles are used in this culture for religious observance. This was a very glitzy shrine and around the back I found Suffolk puffs.
Travel is an exciting & large part of my life, combined with creating fabric, stitching art quilts & enjoying textile traditions around the world.
I work in the quilting industry; exhibit, judge, curate, tutor & write.
These are some of the threads of my life.
Gorgeous - lovely fabrics. Puffs in the last photo look like they are covered with a lace of some sort.
ReplyDeleteIt's all so beautiful and colorful. Is everything made of silk, or silk-like fabric? I love the hanging in the third picture!
