Tsagaan Nuur, the ice lake was a horseshoe shape & we stopped frequently to take photos of the ice sheets, which produced great patterns.

Our driver, the pronunciation of whose name eluded us, despite many attempts. Mongolian is a language unlike any other I have come across with much tongue gymnastics & hissing sounds.
Yaks, like cows with fringed skirts & feather duster tails were shedding their winter coats.
So beautiful Sue - and those yaks might think its summer - brrrrr - ice sheets for lakes? It all looks so beautiful. Can't wait to hear all about it.
