Farewell Venezia

Lots of action in San Marco's as preparations were underway for a funeral on our last morning in Venezia.

We said our goodbyes to this city, a dream floating on water and prepared to board our cruise ship for a week in Adriatic waters.

This was our first cruise experience and we opted for a balcony. I was wondering if I'd feel sea sick?

There were many ships at the terminal that day. Norwegian Jade was the last to leave.

The cabin [ called stateroom on board] was better appointed than many of the hotels rooms we had stayed in, with lots of shelves and coat hangers.

Our balcony view and very exciting as we sailed out of Venezia down the lagoona.
