Kusadasi

Our first sighting of Turkey and the port of Kusadasi where we were greeted by a statue of Attaturk, the modern founder of Turkey [ on the hill to the left- impossible to see in my photo sorry]
Each port we berthed in had a different welcome for us. Getting on and off the ship was easy with the stateroom key cards, in a swipe off and on routine. Hand sanitiser was also freely splashed about continually to avoid upset stomachs.
As in Greece, the 'evil eye' was to be avoided with charms and perhaps this pavement decoration had the same effect.
The Pomegranates were in flower.
