Our Saturday morning Sighlines gallery walk was great as 7 of the 14 invited artists were present to talk about their work. L-R Jayne Willoughby Scott, Kathy Nida, Annie Helmericks-Louder, SAQA President Sandra Sider, Shelley Benner Baird, Sue Dennis, Mirjam Pet-Jacobs & Pat Owoc. No photographs of the exhibition were permitted as a beautiful hard cover catalogue, with a 6 page centre spread, reveals all the exhibition in hanging sequence.
But I couldn't resist this morning, getting a view of my work before opening hours. L-R Wendy Lugg's ' Indifferent Land', Yael David Cohen's 'Windows' & my 'A Dry Land'.
OMG! It was simply the most interesting exhibit there! It was a real treat to be there and meet (and listen to) these wonderful artists. Thanks for the posting, Sue. The photo is a true one-of-a kind...literally.
