AQC- Royal Exhibition Building

Kirsten good to hear you were "rubbing" Melbourne souvenirs after the workshop. More photos from that workshop to come shortly. Ginny how lovely that you have work in '1000 Artisans' numbers 180 & 203 & that you got in touch.
Sadly the Australasian Quilt Convention is over for another year. This was the first time I've taught at the beautiful Royal Exhibition Building which was built in 1880 & is the only surviving 19th century great hall, in the world.

It is located beside the modern Melbourne Museum building.

World Heritage listing was granted in 2004. These interior photos show a little of the grandeur & painted detail.
