3 Piece Suite

Bob took photos on the opening night of 3 Piece Suite so today a very small selection of the art work at this remarkable exhibition at the Redcliffe  Ciy Art Gallery. Above- Donna Davis and her work NOT Jack and the Beanstalk.

Susan Pietsch's Living water, acrylic on lutradur, created many wonderful shadows and the mirage effect of Lake Eyre.

Sue Duffy was inspired by childhood memories of The Bach, a New Zealand seaside family holiday house and recreated it right down to the hedgehog that scared her in the night.

If you are in the Redcliffe area don't miss this great textile exhibition by the
Reddy Art Textile Group, 3 Piece Suite at the Redcliffe City Art Gallery from July 12- August 25. The gallery is at 470-476 Oxley Avenue from Monday - Saturday 10am-4pm.
Each of the 8 artists has taken a theme close to their heart and presents the viewer with 3 pieces of work related to that. But this exhibition surprises with many 3 dimensional pieces suspended from the ceiling, on plinths or mannequins. Precise execution and skillful use of materials is maintained throughout the exhibition.
