Snowy

Still a bit snowy on Sulphur Mountain. The drop down is steep!

We were amused by the antics of a band of striped squirrels as they scampered about the rocks, picking up bits of food dropped by visitors. One grabbed an apple, larger than he was and dragged it away for a juicy meal.

Sulphur Mountain

Up via the gondola for brunch with a view at 2,281m.

Love the views of the ring of mountains around this high point. Just stunning! Photos don't even begin to prepare you for the amazement of nature!

We are a long way from home!

 

Well!

We stayed at The Banff Caribou Lodge and Spa. This greeted us and then each time we entered the bathroom. No animals were harmed in the manufacture of this plastic replica!

I forgot to mention the scenery! Amazing views and a nice commentary to inform us about what we were about to see.

Hell's Gate, a very narrow part of the gorge on the Fraser River.

These photos have been taken through the dome, so some reflection occurs.
