APT7

We indulged by going to the opening day of the Asia Pacific Trienniel 7 at the Gallery of Modern Art and Queensland Art Gallery on Saturday. There are many exhibits to see but we got a taster and are excited to come back for further explorations. Here is Bob in the "not so grand Yellow Canyon" as I've named it! A monument to recycling or rubbish? Sorry I didn't get the artist's name.
Dilly bags on a grand scale by Lorraine Connelly-Northey.
A lot of fibre and textiles have been used by artists from around the globe. This is barkcloth and is a detail of a headpiece from New Guinea.

  1. Looks great Sue, I am looking forward to going and seeing the exhibit. I love the versatility of the works and especially Lorraine Connelly-Northey's dilly bags.
