Santa Maria al Bagno

Gorgeous seaside town, just north of Gallipoli is Santa Maria al Bagno with a white sand beach and rocky sides enclosing the sheltered bay. We are enjoying the non-tourist season ad would hate the traffic in the summertime. Swimmers were already in the sea here and we stopped for a coffee, delicious pastries and a photo session.

 The sand at Bella Vista was being levelled- you may see a frontend loader in the middle distance, near the changing sheds.
