I picked up my basket of Indian wood blocks & went out to the table in my wet studio area which is undercover outside. It was a beautiful Spring weather day- perfect for having some fun with oil paint sticks!
I began adding colour & designs with a commercial rubbing plate & my own home made plate- the purple spiral. The background is a commercial fabric I had in my stash.
I'm quite happy with the result- now to turn it into a small bag for my travels.
Quite inspiring! have been wanting to experiment with oikl sticks; doubt they would work with felting but I think I might be wrong! Will be interested in the travel bag you create.
