UFO

A trip to Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia and coffee in the UFO, a large UFO shaped pod that sits on top of the bridge crossing the Danube River. The Bratislava Hrad [castle] can be seen , top left, in the photo above.

You can see into Austria from here and it is fascinating to watch the river barges fighting against the strong river current as they make their way upstream. with their cargoes.

This is the view from the toilet! " Enjoying the view?" the writing on the window asks. It is at eye height when sitting down on the pedestal.

And the mirror behind makes for great photo opportunities. I used my I Pad mini for all photos on the trip and found it very convenient.
