My favourite art work from the GOMA  Contemporary Australia: Women exhibition was this ensemble of figures 'A Wake' sculpted from odds and ends. Judith Wright used a limited colour palette which tied it all together. Red was the colour accent and the dramatic lighting gave the orchestra a real presence.
