Working/playing

Have been having some great creative time in Phyllis's studio, printing, rubbing, playing, exploring. I can't take the actual plants home with me so this is the next best thing. The very round leaves are from the Sea Grape tree, growing near Onomea Bay which we visited during our tour of the
 Hawaii Tropical Botanical Gardens.
This is a set of green and brown batik strips I won ages ago and now they have been transformed. The stitching of the quilt will come later when I have time in my home studio.
Yes Faye, the oil paint sticks need to be heat set once you have an iron available. They are fine for ages with setting if you keep them wrapped in a paper layer.
