Hanoi- Ngoc Son Temple

Ngoc Son Temple its in Hoan Kiem Lake and is reached by a red foot bridge. It is a haven of tranquillity as there is a small entry fee. Above photo shows the Temple flag and the national flag, with the yellow star.

The incense burning urn is well used with the sticks bowing down after being burnt.
Inside view of the altars guarded by Phoenix birds?

This strange fruit is known as Buddha's fingers and used in temple offerings. From a distance I thought it was a bunch of bananas. I have never seen this fruit before.

This ceramic figures is entwined in the roots of the bonsai tree. Can only imagine how many years this took to achieve.
Can you see him in the photo above?
