Our first 24 hours here have been wild! We have witnessed a bar punch-up while waiting for a dinner table, the Blue Angel jet squadron burning up the sky, dwarfs & a black panther in a cage outside our hotel, stranded without cable car transport at the wharf at night & at some midnight hour the fire department turns up in the street below our 4th floor hotel room with 2 trucks, one with a very long ladder, firemen dressed for action rush out & look up at our building! Bob slept through this last bit.
Hello sailor- it is Fleet Week, with many young sailors in their uniforms, a common street sight.

The famous Clam Chowder at Alioto's followed by Cajun Shrimp & a Seafood Basket.
And this is just the start!!!! Looks like it is going to be action packed - seat belts buckled - enjoy the ride.
