What a great surprise this morning on the way to the Entertainment Centre- this always happens when I haven't packed my oil sticks!
I was drawn in by the wonderful textures of the "junk" making up these street sculptures & on closer inspection found them to be anthills!! Created in 2004 they stand at the end of the Mall opposite the Perc Tucker Gallery.

The wonderful colours, form, lines & value of sunlight in the palms are inspirational. Trunks, fronds & seeds all intrigue & set the mind racing with ideas.
