The NGV had several interesting exhibitions with long queues waiting to get into see Dali. I opted for the Dressed to Rule, Imperial Robes of China- costumes from the 18th & 19th centuries. They were a great contrast to the Regency gowns in the Costume exhibition area with many references to Jane Austin. The costume worn by Mr Darcy [Colin Firth] in Pride & Prejudice was also on display.Thursday, July 2, 2009
