My last post about the American paintings reminded me I still had a few photos of New York that I'd like to share with you. I apologise in advance if you are "New Yorked out" but I find a trip away can really open one's eyes to myriad possibilities.
These are the rubbings that got away! I was amused by the "Made in India" on the sewer cover.
I, too, still enjoy your NY pics. It allows me to see things "new" through your eyes. And, it reminded me of all the manhole cover photos I took on my last trip to Japan where their is a real wealth of interesting ones....through "new " eyes again. I think I need to go look through them again. Thanks! Diane
Travel is an exciting & large part of my life, combined with creating fabric, stitching art quilts & enjoying textile traditions around the world.
I work in the quilting industry; exhibit, judge, curate, tutor & write.
These are some of the threads of my life.
Still enjoying your New York photos Sue
