Il Vecchio Muro

Dinner in Sulmona at il Vechhio Muro [the Old Wall] was a lively affair with a birthday party in full swing in the next room.

We wanted to try the speciality of the area, the arrostocini, lamb on skewers.

Tasty with grilled vegetables, but it surprised us as to the small size of the meat pieces on the skewer.

I had a pasta with chestnuts, sausage and bacon that was also very good.
