Flying into Las Vegas, Nevada is amazing because of the scenery you pass over on the way. At 33,000 feet & little cloud the surrounding dry mountains are clearly visible surrounding a flat, brown landscape, crisscrossed by wide highways & smaller roads. Until you hit the housing developments of Vegas stretching out into the desert.
From the plane our hotel, the Luxor pyramid is clearly visible with the Mandalay to the left.
