This detail is from the middle panel of 'A Dry Land', the work which I created for SAQA: Sightlines, an invitational exhibition premiering in Houston, USA at the International Quilt Festival Nov 4-7. I'm heading over for Festival & looking forward to seeing the 14 artists' work hanging together, as we each had a huge 102" wide area to fill, with a literal or implied sightline running through the work. I can reveal more after it's opened, but at the moment it's hush, hush!
Suzanne & Mel, the bicycle sculpture is in the QUT Gardens Campus- it just caught my eye- line, shape, red!
