Bob has mastered driving on the 'wrong' side of the road & our trusty GPS, brought from Oz & uploaded with US roadmaps is invaluable, saves me navigating the old fashioned way. I was able to snap some shots before we got to the rental return garage. Jan the food is very similar- prices are generally cheaper but tax is always added to the displayed price & a gratuity is added by the customer in cafes & restaurants. It is hard to get used to when in Oz the displayed price is it.
I'm noticing the heavy use of seasoning & the listed 'entrees' are the main meal choices. Cheddar cheese hasn't been the same yet. We don't drink a lot of 'soda' or eat the small packet of potato chips, sometimes supplied with lunch. We're enjoying trying new food- Bob had hot Mexican, something I need to avoid.
Ali, I need to hem my pants yet.
