Diane Rode Schneck was the guest speaker at the Village Square Quilters meeting. She was born in Ohio & this block was featured in her early work & still makes an appearance now & then. I loved her quirky humorous quilts about cocktails & especially the 'diner' one below.
The crazy patch quilt is a tribute to 9/11 & whenever Diane shows it she is given more mementos to add to it.
Travel is an exciting & large part of my life, combined with creating fabric, stitching art quilts & enjoying textile traditions around the world.
I work in the quilting industry; exhibit, judge, curate, tutor & write.
These are some of the threads of my life.
