Artist in Residence

I've decided to parallel post, about my artist in residence, which is happening now & the travel in New Mexico, so each day there will be a little of both to keep you entertained. This is my rental car in front of the door [middle one] to the AiR studio at La Grange, Texas.
Thanks to Karey Bresenhan's gracious hospitality, I am able to begin new quilts for my 'Destination USA' exhibition in July 2011. Above, this is the view of the large design wall.
These photos were taken just after unloading the car. I had bought some! supplies in Houston at Festival & had my favourite Hobbs 80/20 cotton batting, made in Waco Texas, shipped from Hancock's  before leaving Australia.

A stunning first sunset at the ranch.
