New Mexico

Ali, Sightlines was amazing & based on the original exhibition 'Eyeline' by the Australian tACTile group, based in Canberra. I have now been interviewed on You Tube for the first time as part of the SAQA Channel, in which Sandra Sider, President of SAQA interviewed the artists from Sightlines, who were present at the Saturday morning gallery walk. But lets hit the road again.....to New Mexico!
After Durango Colorado, we crossed into New Mexico, heading to Taos via Chama, Los Ojos & a snow sprinkled high country.
Chama provided Bob with many photo opportunities in the rail yard where an engineer took us under his wing & showed us the engine they were restoring, workshop area & filled us in on his life in Chama.
It is the people you meet on travels which makes the journey rich.

  1. HI Sue,
Have just watched the SAQA video on YOu Tube. How exciting for you. It weas intersting to listen to the other astists' interpretations of their work.
I have to agree with Ali when she says "I'm not on holiday with you anymore - I'm now in awe - the artists, the festival - everything.

Thanks, again, for sharing with us.

  2. Hi, Sue,

It was wonderful to meet you in Houston and to see your work....and now enjoying your travels:) New Mexico is such a amazing state with the varied landscape, history and cultural diversity. My husband was born and raised there so we try to visit a couple of times a year. I never tire of it in any season....it's truly the land of enchantment!
