Taos Pueblo

Church of San Gerome at the Taos Pueblo, which didn't allow photos inside.
The 'horno' for bread baking. The fry bread is just that- a yeasty dough, thinly rolled & deep fried then sprinkled with sweet or savoury toppings. Delicious with honey!

    Thanks especially for this post - the day we went it was closed for a funeral - so out of respect we couldn't have a lookg around. Very touching and beautiful please. So glad to be able to share your photos.
